 What a great day of learning, working, connecting and continuing to build our amazing little learning community.  Ms. Woehleke is beyond impressed with how well we know all of the letters (lower case and upper case) of the alphabet and their letter sounds. Be sure to keep practicing letters and sounds with your child at home!  Did you happen to read the poems that were posted for the words of the week? If not, please refer to Tuesday’s blog and have your child read the sight word poems with you J

Daily Highlights…

-We did art with watercolors (Ryder)

-We discovered some of our five senses outside in nature (Emma)

-We did numbers to 20 and number 5 in different ways (Erika)

-We drew a picture and wrote about our favorite places (Ashton)

-We started math duotangs (Avianna)

-We did our best printing of the alphabet (Natalie)

-We did letters and sounds by ourselves with Ms. Woehleke (Ellis)

-We read a new poem called What Color? (Ashton)

-We highlighted sight words in our Treasure Books (Kayleigh)

-We played Space Jam and Would you Rather in gym (Ava)

 

Important Information& Reminders:

-Don’t forget to fill in all of the student demographic forms and return them to school ASAP

-Please continue sending a water bottle, good outdoor footwear and jackets to school every day with your child

-Be sure to LABEL all of your child’s belongings

-Drop off’s and pick-ups are prompt
