Happy Thursday! What a quick, productive morning we had.  Ms. Woehleke is looking very forward to meeting with all of you at Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Please refer to the email that was sent out on Monday for the conference link. Click on the link at your conference time.

Starting next week, our google classroom will now be used in place of our classroom blog. Please see the stream on our google classroom for daily posts (like the blog).

Many kids have been coming to school with coughs, runny noses and other symptoms. It is REALLY important that you please stay home if you have any symptoms and are not well.

Just a reminder to bring your headphones to school for technology tasks.  Bring in various colored leaves for a special Fall project next week.

Keep practising your letters, letter sounds, words of the week and reading on Raz-Kids.  Reading is the biggest priority this year!

Have a great weekend and see you at conferences :)

Happy Monday! What a productive day in grade one and we only had one friend missing in our class today. Sadly it was the birthday girl- Happy Birthday Avianna!

Words of the Weekgo   to    me    be

Be sure to log onto our google classroom to see some of the literacy essentials we are working with right now: Alphabet chart and sight word poems

*It is really important that your child learns how to identify all letters of the alphabet (lower case/upper case) and their correct letter sounds.  Students are also expected to print lower case and upper case letters appropriately in their daily writing, so printing practise at home is also very beneficial!

A few reminders...

-Please review the email that was sent home regarding google classroom and conferences and be sure to accept my invitation to google classroom through your child's email address

Soft entry will begin on Monday, Sept. 21st. Students are allowed to enter the school anytime after 7:52a.m. and go to their classroom until the bell goes. There will still be staff members outside on supervision.
