We had an unexpected fire drill this afternoon and all of us did a great job with the unexpected. Be sure to see our new words of the week and have your child practice reading them and spelling them correctly.

Please see the Raz-Kids letter/log-in information that came home day.  Help your child get started and logged in at home.  We will be using this great reading resource throughout the school year on an ongoing basis and hope you will too at home. 

 

Our Daily Highlights…

-We went to the park by the pond to get our “steps for Terry Fox” in (Boston)

-We practiced running in gym (Ashton)

-We worked with the number 8 (Isla)

-We did a math test (Willa)

-We read a new poem (Avianna)

-We played magic rock in gym (Kayleigh)

-We did journals and sight words (Natalie)

-We had a big firedrill (Ashton)

-We changed our passwords on computers (Natalie)

Important Information& Reminders:

-PLEASE keep your child home if they are having any symptoms. It is a good idea to do the covid screening assessment located on our school website each morning before sending your child to school

-Don’t forget to fill in all of the student demographic forms and return them to school ASAP

-Please continue sending a water bottle, good outdoor footwear and jackets to school every day with your child

-Be sure to LABEL all of your child’s belongings
